SSNsight identifies the state and year of issue for an applicants social security number. Finally, unlike trace products offered by other screening companies, SSNsight includes a search of the Social Security Administrations Death Master Index to determine if death benefits have been paid for the SSN provided.
Simplified, Real-time I-9 ComplianceThe Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) of 1996 legally mandated that employers verify the employment eligibility status of newly-hired employees and made it unlawful for employers to knowingly hire or continue to employ unauthorized workers. Since that time, employers have been required to collect identification cards and documents, complete complicated forms and essentially accept the legitimacy of identification documents at face value.
